A WINTER FEAST IN A WOODLAND HUNTING LODGE

We’re coming back to the beautiful Woodland lodge in Henley for a candlelit winter feast. If you missed it last time this is your chance to get involved in a truly special and intimate occasion with two very fine chefs.

On November 25th and 26th we are returning to the Henley area with the second of a series of very special events in a stunning woodland hunting lodge. Accessed up a private, tree lined drive and tucked in amongst the trees it really is a beautiful, peaceful spot and we are thrilled to be working with the Culden Faw Estate to present these intimate dinners. The estate hosted our sell out Regatta event this year, which was a lot of fun and you can be sure this will be too.

Cooking on the night are two of our favourite chefs whose combined CV is a truly impressive catalogue. The six course tasting menu is being created by Karl Doering and Ben Harrington, two of London's most exciting new chefs. Karl, previously at Claridges, and the now sadly closed Mayfields in East London, where his food was described by The Guardian's Jay Rayner as, "a brilliant display of intelligent cooking". Ben has worked at several fine establishments under Gordon Ramsey, including one of the senior chefs at Union St Cafe. He was then one of the head chefs at The Mondrian on the Southbank and is currently head chef at Mews Of Mayfair.

As always the menu will include lots of lovely local winter produce including game from the estate, organic vegetables from Bosley Patch and lots more of our lovely local friends.

A seasonal cocktail list will come from our team of top London barmen, and you can definitely expect the return on some warming winter concoctions as well as plenty of ice cold numbers. Beautiful wine from independent growers matched to the food, craft beer on tap and more besides.
