What is the Virtual Valentine Truffle and Martini Making?
If you’re struggling to find something romantic to do for Valentine’s Day this year, look no further. The Love Guru’s at My Chocolate have got you covered. What could possibly be better than inviting your other half to take part in our deliciously indulgent Valentines Virtual Truffle and Martini Making Workshop on Zoom! You will spend 1 and a half splendid hours learning to make our extraordinarily decadent fresh cream truffles. And to top it all off, shake things up with our signature tipple, our Chocolate Martini! What could possibly be a better valentines gift than chocolate and booze, if you find out let us know!
How does it work?
Once you’ve purchased a ticket to the virtual workshop, we’ll post you our your aptly named chocolate’ ‘Kit For Two’ kit for 2 in the post. This will give you everything you and your partner will need to take part. There are two types of tickets available.
Standard Valentine ticket – £78 for 2 guests
- Entry in to your Zoom event at your chosen date and time.
- Standard Valentine kit for 2 which includes…Belgian Dark and Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate Flakes, Honeycomb, Coconut and Berry Dust, parchment and piping bag, makes approx. 20-30 truffles.
- Martini Making ingredient for 2 which includes……mini bottle Vodka and Irish Cream liqueur and even more dark chocolate
- Tracked UK postage.
Luxury Valentine ticket (if you want to make it even more romantic…) – £95 for 2 guests
- Entry in to your Zoom event at your chosen date and time.
- Luxury Valentine kit for 2 which includes… Belgian Dark and Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate Flakes, Honeycomb, Coconut and Berry Dust, parchment and piping bag, makes approx. 20-30 truffles.
- Martini Making ingredient for 2 which includes…mini bottle Vodka and Irish Cream liqueur and even more dark chocolate
- A lucky dip of either rose or regular Prosecco (mini sized)
- Belgian White Chocolate for nibbling and decorating.
- Crunchy Rice Chilli Crackers and salted pretzels
- Tracked UK postage.

What do I need to do before the virtual workshop to prepare?
There are a few simple steps you need to take before you tune in.
Step 1 – 1 day or more before the workshop
- Purchase a 300ml pot of double cream or coconut cream .
- Make sure you have a minimum of 8 ice cubes.
- Make sure you have 60mls of any type of milk.
Step 2 – 30 mins before the start of the workshop
- Make sure to melt and cool down your chocolate (called tempering) and get your equipment out ready before we start the workshop.
- We’ll send you our simple guide on how to temper your chocolate and what you will need once you purchase your ticket.
- Set up your work station in your kitchen so that you both have the same amount of space to sit down for a meal.
- We recommend using a tablet or computer for the zoom call.
- Ensure that you have half a shelf in the fridge or freezer if needed.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
