Drama, Intrigue, Hope, Love, and Betrayal…it can only be a Night at the Opera with Rogue Opera!

Join Rogue Opera’s four professional opera singers and Music Director, Guy Murgatroyd, for a delightful evening curating arias and ensembles from opera’s big hits and hidden gems, including pieces by Bizet, Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, and more. Presented in an engaging cabaret-style format, with introductions by the singers setting the context of characters and stories of each piece, this will be a fantastic evening for opera connoisseurs and the opera-curious alike.

All the music will be sung in the original language, with our online program available on the night for full translations of the text.

SING YOUR HEART OUR WITH OPERA IN THE GARDEN WITH FULLER'S Beneath the grandeur, elaborate sets and period costumes of traditional opera lie everyday dramas - characters embroiled in family feuds, relationship issues and the highs and lows of falling in and out of love. This unique production by Rogue Opera weaves a modern story, with new original dialogue, through opera’s big tunes; the tear-jerkers, the crowd-pleasers and, of course, the drinking songs (all performed in their original languages). Encompassing friendship, betrayal, intrigue, love, laughter and mischief, it’s a great evening of entertainment. Come and meet some of opera’s most famous characters, up close and personal, in Fuller's fantastic pub gardens: Carmen (the Popular One), Mimi (the Good Girl), Escamillo (the Alpha Male) and Rodolfo (the Complicated One) Follow this awesome foursome as they navigate their way through the pitfalls of their lives and relationships, assuming personas from other operas in a quest to change themselves to find true love. Or maybe they’ll realise that happiness comes from the simple things – good food, good wine* and good company (in a pub garden)... (*other beverage choices are of course available at the bar ;) )
