Lots of things can lead to feelings of anxiety, including exam pressures, relationships, starting a new job (or losing one) or other big life events. Six in ten adults feel this way, at least some of the time. On a positive note, anxiety can be made easier to manage. What is yoga and what is mindfulness? Mindfulness helps you to stay with difficult feelings without over analysing or encouraging them. When you allow yourself to feel and acknowledge your worries, irritations, memories and other thoughts and emotions, this often stops you from feeling overwhelmed and equipped to manage them until they dissolve. Mindfulness exercises are ways of paying attention to the present moment using techniques like meditation and, breathing exercises whilst not getting stuck in thoughts about the past or the future. Regular training helps you to become more aware of your thoughts, feelings, and body sensations. Generating a sense of gratitude and helping to improve relationships with others. Yoga is a practice that connects the body, breath and mind. It uses physical postures, breathing and meditations to help reduce stress, aiding relaxation and improving fitness and strength. Yoga is an opportunity in our busy world to take a moment, one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. We think it's about the shapes we make with our bodies but in reality, that's only part of it, yoga was created to 'quieten the turnings of our mind' and that's exactly what our yoga asanas, guided mindfulness meditations and visualisations will attempt to help you with. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
