Description
Located in the beautiful village centre of Hindon, The Lamb can be found in the West Wiltshire Downs, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as is close to one of the wonders of the Ancient world, Stonehenge.
The Lamb would have been trading as a public house as early as the 12th century. By 1870 it was already well established as a posting inn that supplied 300 post horses for coaches to and from London to the West Country.
To this day The Lamb retains most of its original character including inglenook fireplaces, flagstone floors and high wooden beams.
We have 18 beautiful boutique bedrooms, a traditional pub, dining room and 2 private dining rooms, The Wylye Duck and The Meddling Pike which locals and visitors can enjoy
