Ship & Crown

Description

Once known as The Crown Hotel, and the site where Vice Admiral Hoffmeier, German commander of the Channel Islands, was taken into captivity by British Forces. The Ship & Crown was also shown as a main feature in the film ‘The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society’.

On the ground floor the Ship & Crown is now a vibrant traditional pub overlooking the harbour at St Peter's Port, and does a great range of casks ales, lagers and beers including the award-winning Liberation ale which is brewed on the island. For somewhere to unwind and relax after a day of sightseeing, the second-floor, the "Top Deck" also offers stunning views across the harbour. Dine and drink in contemporary surroundings whilst loosing track of time catching up with love ones or friends.

We offer a vast array of food offerings to suit everyone tastes. From locally sourced seafood to sizzling steak to the traditional pub classics you know and love. Each dish is cooked to perfection.
