The Lost & Found is oozing with history & style, formally known as The Old Town Hall, this renovated venue truly merges old with new to create a beautiful bar and restaurant in the heart of Knutsford.
Every Lost & Found venue is based on the tale of a Professor, and their venue in Knutsford is based around Emily B Kingsley, a professor of Lepidoptera whose quirky persona is sprinkled within the decor & feel, a treasure trove of butterflies & other lore is to be found hidden amongst the stylish interior of the building. Discover & you will find yourself surrounded by antique brass, velvet & leather furniture, highlighting the Victorian characteristics that still stand within the building.
Pop in for one of their famous cocktails, their bespoke drinks menu is bursting with creative cocktails & classic favourites to tickle your taste buds, take yourself on an adventure around the world as their menu takes heavy inspiration from the wonders of nature and botanicals. Visiting with friends? they have the perfect sharing cocktails, found in their Ingenious Sharing Section within the menu.
Now for the dining. At the Lost & Found Knutsford you will find multiple menu options, and bountiful seasonal mouther-watering food to enjoy within their gorgeous dining rooms. Seasonality will be discovered within the heart of every meal and each home-cooked dish is created with responsibly sourced produce from both sea & land. THE BOARDROOM
Hidden away up a short set of steps in their main bar, you will find their stunning boardroom space! The ideal setting for private dining up to 14 guests for a sit-down meal or for a more casual layout it can hold up to 20 guests.
Whether you seek a space for an intimate meal with loved ones or the perfect meeting space for a working lunch, they can serve delicious food & refreshments within this private space. There are TV facilities & a sound system for all your presentational needs.
THE SECRET BAR
Needing a bigger space? they have got you covered. Using their Secret Bar & Boardroom together you can create the perfect private party spot!
Within these spaces you will be able to host a party for up to 65 guests, using the boardroom as a buffet & casual dining area. The Secret Bar comes equipped with your own private bartender, sound system & you can even have your very own personalised cocktail.
EXCLUSIVE HIRE
In need of a larger space? they offer exclusive hire of their incredible upstairs Restaurant & Bar. This is their most popular space for wedding receptions and larger celebrations—with formal seating for up to 120 guests & space for up to 150 guests in a party setting, which includes dance floor space!

Within this space, you will not only get some beautiful original features from the old town hall including tall windows and a great raised area which can be used for a dance floor in the evening but this is a great setting for up to 120 guests to have a formal sit down meal an evening party with drinks and canapes or a buffet style option. With your number of guests we can use different areas of the restaurant to suit how you would like the guests to sit, creating an intimate atmosphere for you and your guests. We do not charge any room hire for the use of the restaurant, we would just require a minimum spend which varies depending on which day and the time you book your party, this spend can include pre-ordered food and drinks, along with any drinks purchased on the day by your guests. So this fee does not need to all be paid by one person. For the restaurant the minimum spend is based on the day of the week and the time you would be looking to hold your event, Weekend evening hires from 7pm until 1am start from £5,000 upwards depending on the date you are looking to book, if you would like to enquire about a specific date please contact us on Knutsfordevents@the-lostandfound.com or by enquiring through our bookings site. |

Our Secret Bar and Boardroom is the perfect space for up to 60 guests, hidden away up some small steps in the main bar area you will find these event spaces. By using both of these spaces together you will have extra space for a buffet with seating and also your very own private bar area with space for guests to grab a drink and relax. We do not charge any room hire for the use of the Secret Bar and Boardroom, we do just require a minimum spend of £800-£2,000 (date dependant) this spend can include pre-ordered food and drinks, along with any drinks purchased on the day by your guests. So this fee does not need to all be paid by one person.

Our Boardroom area, hidden away up some small steps in the main bar area you will find this private room which works perfectly in an informal seating arrangement, small tables with 3 or 4 chairs round at each and we can comfortably seat up to 16 in this space. Or for a more formal atmosphere, this space can also be used as a private dining area for up to 12 guests. We would charge just £100 room hire fee to use this space for and you can always bring in any of your own decorations to add some personal touches. |
