Description
The Crown Club at The Old Government House Hotel is the most stylish and relaxing rendezvous in all of Guernsey - the perfect spot to enjoy the company of friends and colleagues over a few drinks and a light meal. Created from the original 18th-century Old Crown Offices, it provides an intimate and flexible collection of inviting spaces that are perfect for a wide range of occasions and functions, including a glass-walled wine and whisky-tasting room.
The plush and cosy bar has a very traditional and opulent feel, with red leather banquette seating and a wealth of antique brass fittings. It offers an outstanding selection of premium whiskies and British gins, Champagne, vodkas and cognacs as well as cocktails, beers and fine wines, including signature vintages from their sister wine estate Bouchard Finlayson.

Sit back in their elegantly monochrome Crown Club, with its glass-enclosed wine and whisky-tasting room, and try one of their delicious signature cocktails, or indulge in a bottomless brunch.

Live music on Friday and Saturday evenings: 9.30pm - midnight

They'll treat you to a choice of classic cocktails, such as the trendy cosmopolitan, the slick martini or the flamboyant mai tai, as well as a selection of deliciously tempting nibbles prepared by their chef.

THE BAR
Decorated in rich regency reds, with plush upholstered walls and individual antique pieces such as lanterns, chests and banquette seating, the Bar has a luxurious ambience. Sample an outstanding selection of premium whiskies and British gins, Champagne, vodkas and cognacs as well as cocktails, beers and fine wines.
THE CONSERVATORY
The Conservatory, overlooking the hotel pool and gardens, stretches the length of the building. It’s a wonderfully light and spacious environment with a striking black and white decorative scheme, perfect for hosting informal receptions and private get-togethers. It can comfortably accommodate 25 guests, or 14 seated.
THE TERRACE
The large Conservatory Terrace provides a lovely setting for the summer months. Overlooking the swimming pool, enjoy magnificent views across the town and harbour of St Peter Port to the sea. Complete with outside heaters and fountain lighting, it is an idyllic space to relax and enjoy a drink or a light lunch.
MEETING ROOMS
They offer three boardrooms that can be hired for meetings and small business functions. Each is beautifully decorated and includes a mirror TV, the latest plug and play technology and complimentary Wi-Fi. Two of the boardrooms seat eight people and the smaller one seats six people.
TASTING ROOM
The glass-walled wine and whisky tasting room is a wonderful space in which to hold intimate private parties and exclusive corporate events for up to ten people. They offer various options from £55 per head for wines, whisky, tapas and cheese.
THE LOUNGE
Located next to the bar, their cosy lounge offers sumptuous traditional furnishings providing a peaceful sanctuary in which to relax and unwind with a drink after a busy day.
