Impossible York is the latest addition to the iconic St Helen’s square and is set within the heart of York’s buzzing shopping and hospitality scene. This Grade II listed building is a hidden gem within the stunning twists and turns of Ye olde cobbled streets and occupies the former Terry’s Chocolate Orange offices. With such a notable history attached, Impossible has given this building the perfect mixture of glitz and glamour and is the most stunning venue for any celebration!

At the front of our venue we have the Tearoom which boasts floor to ceiling windows which look out onto St Helen's square - it's the perfect place to indulge in our Afternoon Tea (with all the Impossible twists included) as well as the ideal space for private dining groups. 

Just above we have our Main Restaurant where you can indulge in a range of classic and hearty dishes including Fish and Chips, Chicken Supreme as well as a range of small plates and sides- not forgetting our signature Impossible Burger. Whether you're looking to celebrate a special occasion or after the perfect intimate dinner for two, the soft furnished booths surrounded by original oak pannelled walls provide the ideal setting. 

Leading up the titanic inspired staircase is Wonderbar - this is our largest space within the venue and where all of our amazing event's are held. This space is not just about food and drink but about experiences! Wonderbar has a capacity of x170 and is ideal for larger groups to not only enjoy dinner and drinks, but bottomless brunch and our famous Drag Bottomless Brunch which is hosted by the infamous Drag Queen Velma Celli!
