Film fanatics are in for a treat, as the pop-up Laneway Cinema at The Rocks are hosting a series of free movie screenings every Wednesday. This gorgeous outdoor cinema in Sydney is nestled in the scenic cobblestones of Atherden Street, and is fit with comfy beanbags and deck chairs for you to relax on while enjoying a classic flick.

They're kicking off with some quintessential comedies like Bridesmaids and Ferris Bueller's Day Off in aid of Mental Health Month, and what better way to make the most of the warm weather?

Naturally, everyone's favourite part of a trip to the cinema is the snacks. This experience takes it a step further than your standard popcorn and chocolate though, as the Laneway Cinema menu offers offers a selection of dining options - from pizza to gourmet burgers and ribs. And if you want to really make a night of it, there are also countless bars to be found.

Laneway Cinema is now showing films every Wednesday until the 27th March 2024 at Playfair Street, The Rocks NSW 2000. If you liked this, check out our guide to outdoor activities in Sydney and sign up for our future newsletter here.
