Join us on Sunday 11 February for our 2024 Wedding Fair, and a magical showcase of our beautiful pub and unique floating private hire barge.
Pub weddings are becoming increasingly popular amongst the sophisticated bride and groom. Gone are the days where happy couples were restricted to saying ‘I do’ in a particular setting - and as a result, many are seeking out more casual and unique wedding venues, such as characterful pubs like ours! It’s easy to see why pub weddings have become so popular. Many of us have spent some of our happiest moments in pubs – they are a place you go to where you can relax with a proper pint or a large Sauvignon after a hard day’s work. You can pop-in when you’re in need of a refreshment pit-stop while travelling, or celebrate special occasions with family and friends. So why should it ever be any different for your wedding day?
Our pub has a unique atmosphere that rivals many other styles of venues, and it’s this atmosphere that can often be impossible to find and even replicate elsewhere, giving the location a personal and intimate vibe.
For the foodie-loving couples, Fuller’s pubs are renowned for their unmistakable mouth-watering menus including Chef Signature dishes and the more traditional premium pub classics. Weddings at The Narrowboat include incredible food and drink offers at affordable prices, without compromising on quality.
We’re set on making things as easy as possible for you too – because, let’s be honest, the logistics of moving your guests from wedding venue to reception spot is one of the less exciting parts of planning your big day. With that in mind, we’ve made sure that our pub can not only deliver the perfect ceremony, either aboard our floating private function barge, the Majestic Bel, or in our beautiful newly refurbished restaurant reception - to a champagne reception and canapes on our riverside terrace, to a lavish sit-down wedding breakfast, and even five beautiful boutique bedrooms for your guests to stumble up to at the end of the night. Meaning the minute you’ve said ‘I do’ is the minute the fun starts!
We offer a personal service and will help design a package that will take the pain out of planning. Our events team have a wealth of experience in delivering attention to detail combined with outstanding service that’s sure to meet, and exceed, expectations. By having just one person dedicated to the supervision of your booking and helping you every step of the way, we can offer you tailor-made packages to suit your needs, and will work closely with you in the run up to your big day to help you design a wedding that is as individual as you are.
We will also be joined on the day by a number of our recommended local vendors who you can talk to about your wedding requirements, all in one place.
Attendance is completely free and you are welcome to show up on the day, but if possible please register your interest via the link to ensure there are enough canapes to go around!

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight WFL Media Ltd and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
