Mother's Day Special Event.
Join Ceramic Artist Paddy Hartley for a 3 hour ceramic workshop at 27 Art House creating ceramic watering spikes for your indoor plants.
In the relaxed environment of 27 Art House, Paddy will guide you through the process of creating a pair of ceramic watering spikes designed for delayed watering of your indoor plants. The workshop involves trimming, assembling and detailing a pair watering spikes using a wide selection of pre-cast paperclay slip-cast components, allowing you to create unique designs of your own. Once assembled, Paddy will introduce you to a range of simple yet effective decorating techniques including incising, carving and impressing to make your creations all the more unique and to exploit the characteristics of the glazes to be applied to your creations. Once made, your creations will over the next few days be dried, fired and glazed from a selection of coloured glazes of your choice. Once completed, your creations will be ready to collect from 27 Art House within approximately 10 days or can be posted to you for an additional small fee.
No previous experience with clay is required and the event is designed with novices and more experienced makers in mind.

Cancellation policy:
Full refund if cancelled with 48 hour notice from the event start time
50% refund if cancelled 24 hours from the event start time
no refund should you not attend on the day. No exceptions

About your event leader:
Paddy has over 30 years experience leading creative workshops and events as events leader at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, and for his highly popular speed pottery date night sessions in which he introduced over 2500 lovebirds to the joys of throwing on the potters wheel over 2 and a half years. Paddy is great at taking the fear out of the creative process, fostering a ‘can-do’ attitude to the creative process.

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
