House of Tides

Description

House of Tides is Newcastle's only Michelin-starred restaurant, found within a grand Grade I listed 16th century building in the historical Quayside area. While it may be a fine dining spot, this place has a chilled-out feel thanks to its light-filled dining room with exposed beams and original flagstones.

From the first floor, guests can dine next to an open fireplace with views over the Rover Tyne, while the ground level space provides a cosy feel for pre-dinner aperitifs and evening nightcaps. As for the kitchen? That comes headed-up by Kenny Atkinson, who has applied his experience working for some of the UK's best restaurants into the menu. House of Tides showcases the very best of British cooking, with an emphasis on sustainable produce and top-quality ingredients that pay tribute to the North East.
