With a growing rooftop scene in Newcastle, cue The Crescendo - a sky-high offering from the team behind Aveika at Quayside. And, blimey, it's a beauty. Fronting three tiers of terrace atop Livello, the gorgeous outdoor bar will be a venue in its own right, while offering much of the same high-end experience as its sister below. Better yet, the views of Dean Street and the surrounding historic buildings are sure to make you swoon.

You can also expect a range of sofas and chairs to settle down in across the swish decking, alongside stools for perching on at the stocked bar. As for the drinks themselves? If the mixology at The Gainford Group's other places is anything to go by, then they're sure to be a list of winners. A menu here would include signature and classic cocktails, such as the watermelon twist, pornstar martinis or a blushing geisha whipped up from lychee juice, Hendrick’s rose gin liqueur, cucumber and hibiscus. Having delayed throwing open its doors since 2021, there's no news yet on when exactly you'll be heading up to this luxury lookout. But, The Crescendo is tipped to be available for summertime sipping.
