Manchester is turning the festive dial all the way up this
December as the Manchester Christmas Parade makes its sparkling
return on Sunday the 7th of December 2025, and trust us, this
year’s edition is shaping up to be the most joy-filled yet.
The city’s streets will transform into a full-blown winter
wonderland as the parade sets off from Manchester Cathedral at 1pm,
jingling its way along a 1.4km route packed with music, magic and
pure Christmas cheer. Front and centre? The glorious comeback of
Manchester’s very own Elf Express, a rolling burst of colour and
chaos with Santa himself hitching a festive lift en route to the
North Pole, backed by his irrepressible crew of elves.
But that’s only the start. Keep your eyes peeled for Toy Soldiers
on segways (yes, really), ready to strike a salute for every
selfie. There’s the city’s naughtiest roaming Christmas tree
causing mischief wherever it roams, a pair of gentle giant reindeer
surrounded by helpful elves, a gliding Arctic Fox, and none other
than Jack Frost leading a troupe of icy dancers.
Brand new for 2025, and guaranteed to melt even the frostiest mood,
is the Festive Fantasy Candyland Castle: a fairytale fortress of
turreted towers and candy canes, standing over three metres tall
and rotating as it floats along. Expect gasps, ‘ooohs’, ‘aaahs’ and
kids utterly transfixed.
And yes, the iconic Snow Queen returns, perched inside her giant
shimmering snow globe, drifting regally through the city like a
vision from a storybook.
The soundtrack? Pure Christmas joy. Think the Bloco Band blasting
festive bangers, Fianna Phadraig Pipe Band delivering holiday tunes
with a Celtic twist, and the endlessly entertaining Elton Wrong
rolling by on his portable stadium stage, crooning pop classics and
show tunes while hammering out piano riffs.

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
