New Bar Spy - The Loading Bay

Black Dog Ballroom team announce latest NQ venture

The Loading Bay

Opens

Venue Closed

What they say:

The focus at the Loading Bay will be a foodie one. Promising high-end rotisserie chicken, hog roasts, beef ribs and more gluttonous delights, this will be a relaxed neighbourhood spot for the NQ’s carnivores to tuck in. Brought to Manchester’s streets by Jobe Ferguson and Lyndon Higginson - two-thirds of the team behind successful city venues like the Black Dog Ballroom and Cane & Grain - the bar area will lead on to the open kitchen for some added theatre here.

What we say:

Loosely based on Mark Hix’s Tramshed restaurant in London, the Loading Bay is headed up by two guys who know the drinking and dining industry inside out. We’re expecting big things from this new three-storey, Victorian hideout on Tariff Street, and with a 2am licence there’ll be no need to drink up in a hurry come the weekends.
