What they say:

Brought to Manchester’s Urbis Building, Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs’ GG Hospitality have released their experimental ‘Space Age Asian’ restaurant Rabbit In The Moon that uses traditional Asian ingredients in interesting ways. The dishes are just as creative as their names suggest, with titles like ‘Crispy Red Curry’ and ‘Electric Lime Leaf’. Sharing the same building as the National Football Museum, the interior compliments its name and mission statement: sleek black surfaces, rabbits graffitied onto the bar and circular tables with moons imprinted upon it.

What we say:

The former footballers' latest concept is a fascinating take on pan-Asian cuisine. The 17 course taster menu is accompanied by a bespoke cocktail menu designed to enhance each of the dishes. But the food is fascinating in both aesthetics and concept, with entries like Wagyu Truffle Nigiri appearing like it was ripped from the frames of a sci-fi film. The visual design flows from the food to the venue, keeping a playfully consistent tone so that even the light-shades appear as half-full moons.
