Mamma Mia! The Party might be coming to Manchester.

Mamma Mia, here we go again. Manchester could soon be getting a brand-new entertainment venue as plans for the massive Etihad Campus have been recommended for approval, with Mamma Mia! The Party lined up as its first attraction. 

The hugely popular show has become one of London's go-to ABBA experiences, blending live theatre, dining, and no shortage of chances to belt your heart out.

What Is Mamma Mia! The Party? 

Mamma Mia! The Party combines live performance, dining, and immersive storytelling into one experience. You're transported to a vibrant Greek taverna, where actors perform an original story set to ABBA's greatest hits, all while you enjoy a Mediterranean-inspired meal. The show concludes with a huge disco party, where you're invited to jump out of your seat and dance the night away. 

The production has been running at the O2 in London since 2019. 

Where Will Mamma Mia! The Party Open?

Mamma Mia! The Party is set to open at Manchester's Etihad Campus, alongside the expansion of Etihad Stadium. It would sit right in the heart of Manchester's entertainment district.

When Will Mamma Mia! The Party Open In Manchester?

An official opening date has not yet been announced. The venue is waiting for the official go-ahead, but recently received the recommendation for approval from planning officers, which is a huge step forward.
