The Blue Pig may be known for their French cuisine, but on 6th August they'll be paying homage to all things Ye Olde England, with a brilliant 'Best Of British' pairing evening in conjunction with pals The Liquorists.
This unmissable evening of food and drink from the British Isles will see four plates of fine British fayre (from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales), paired with home grown tipple selected by booze experts The Liquorists.
Dishes will include a summer meadow aperitif with pickled radishes, Great Orme Brewery stout with leek & Caerphilly tart from Wales, Bushmills Blackbush marmalade smash with a twisted Ulster fry from Northern Ireland, Ridgeview Sparkling Wine with Dorset mackerel tartare, horseradish & gooseberries from England, Caorunn Gin with Uist clams, thyme, vermouth, lemon from Scotland and, finally, a digestif of Coffee Circle Espresso with homemade tablet.
It all kicks off at 18.30, so come straight from work and take your fill.
