What they say:

Brought to Deansgate by lush liquid patrons Living Ventures, Gusto is the first Central Manchester plot for this heralded high-end Italian eatery after destinations such as Didsbury and Knutsford. Boasting 8,500 sg ft after knocking through Grade II listed building, Elliot House, Gusto is a contemporary den for high-end plates. From a 200 cover restaurant and bar to 3 private dining rooms should the occasion so take, Gusto is a £2m plot of plush Italian dishes and international wine.

What we say:

Like Gusto's proprietors, we too were surprised that it took the restaurant bar so long to find its way into Central Manchester. But aw heck, at least they're here now. Manchester has so high a volume of high class, contemporary eating retreats, which means that Gusto should fit in just nicely. While many may consider Deansgate an odd plot for such an establishment, we think that the effort into nabbing the Elliot House plot and so grandiose an 8,500 sq ft will mean that Gusto stands out amongst the party hearty crowd.
