What they say:

Albert's Schloss is a new bar opening on Manchester's Peter Street. Hidden beneath the iconic Albert Hall, the bar will bring a slice of Bohemian life to a city bursting full of culture with its intriguing range of international beers, potent spirits and colourful cocktails. Rounding off the experience, an evening at this metropolitan bar is punctuated by live performances from a talented line-up of wonderfully bizarre dancers, terrific singers and fantastic musicians.

What we say:

Run by the masterminds behind Gorilla and the Albert Hall, Albert's Schloss is a Bohemian-inspired basement bar in the heart of Manchester. Maintaining the venue's opulent allure, the dancers and singers play a big part at this joint and will most probably appeal to people looking for a night out with a bit of edge. Information remains thin for the time being, but with its heart and head firmly nestled in the hills of Bohemia, expect loads of mismatched furniture and colourful, artisan decorations. Full of bite and with bagfuls of character, we've got a funny feeling that Albert's Schloss might blossom into something brilliant.
