Club NME NYE Ball ft. Superfood

As another glorious year of championing new music and bright young bands draws to a close, the Club NME NYE Ball returns to KOKO to help you see in 2015 in a suitably excitable fashion.

With two of the best new bands of 2014 (soon to be the most talked about bands of 2015...) on the bill, along with the Club NME DJs that have kept you in musical heaven for the past 12 months, this will be the place to bid farewell to 2014.

To headline the proceedings, this year we welcome Superfood. Superfood wear their 90s alt-rock influences on their sleeves, yet it's not all Britpop-inspired: there are notes of early Vines, Howling Bells and Radiohead, too.

Scottish band Prides, last seen at the closing ceremony of this year's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, will support on the night. More concerned with hotwiring their songs into the listener’s brain than with hipster cool, the Glasgow trio carry an undertow of emotional resonance within their instantly appealing future classics.

Plus DJ Ed Wilder plays Indietronica and Electro/Remix. Expect Alex Metric, Arctic Monkeys, Bastille, Clean Bandit, Daft Punk, Disclosure & Foals; while DJ Alana B Devotion will be mixing it up with Indie, Electro, Dance & Drum and Bass, playing original tracks and remixes.
