Koko is a popular live music venue in Camden. The venue, originally named Camden Place, became Koko after an extensive refurbishment and transformation restoring this theatre style music venue to it's former glory. It's an iconic and legendary live music venue in London and you can catch all the latest big bands and DJs that are storming the UK music scene. It has several balconies that are fantastic for looking down onto a packed dancefloor and hosts gigs and concerts throughout the week. Club NME takes over Friday nights with live bands playing till about midnight and then DJs playing the latest indie and electro anthems.

This is a really popular place so I guess many knows about it already. Good thing: there are many good free events, the venue is really big and almost always crowded if you like big parties. Bad thing: sticky dirty floor, also too crowded if you are not into it.

Great place to go out clubbing on a Friday with a student discount!! Drinks are cheap, the crowd around the stage is huge and the music is loud...would definitely recommend!!

I was here recently after being offered a ticket for Mr. Scruff, and do have to say that I was impressed with the venue, which is set up like (or possibly once was) a large theatre. Finding your friends across multiple floors and balconies is a bit of a task, but c'est la vie. A huge venue, and so the very large crowd fit in perfectly, and there's plenty of 'wandering space', which I always appreciate. A good night in all, and a return visit in the pipeline.

Came here for the buttoned down disco, was great music and the atmosphere was brilliAnt. Love the venue. The crowd was slightly older perhaps due to the older indie music

I went here for the first time in years and, predictably, felt pretty old (and I'm only 27!) - it's a super young crowd, but it's always gonna be a funny and messy night at Koko.

I've only been here for the nights organised by Buttoned Down Disco and they're the best nights I've ever been to. People dressed up, just having fun. The dancefloor is huge and the music is the best sets I've ever danced to. It's just my thing so me and my bestie always have a crazy night with mad memories.

Great venue to see live bands as it is an old theatre with multiple levels. The main bar is also well stocked and averagely priced. I loved the outdoor street facing terrace on the first floor, plenty of space and there is also a bar upstairs so you don't have to queue up in the main hall. I need to check out one of their club nights I feel a good night coming on!

Love the decor, love the idea of the place, but absolutely hate the weekend club nights. Pretentious and overpriced. But some people love it, I understand why but it just my thing.

What an epic venue in London for watching live music, its an old theatre and is a memorable place to watch your favourite band. Friday night NME club night is a great laugh as well if you want to dance around to indie music!
