ABOUT
Coldwater, Kansas, 1904. The law
is tightening, liquor is getting scarce, and the saloon on the main
street has a working distillery behind its bookshelf. You arrive as
an out-of-state moonshiner, and the family running the operation
has already decided you're one of them.
They'll deal you into cards and
dice, offer you a share of the next shipment, and make sure you
know what not to say in front of the saloon's owner, who still
believes she runs a respectable establishment. Earn their trust and
you might see what's behind the bookshelf.
The Sheriff has come close to
shutting the place down before, and tonight there's been a tip-off.
Expect questions. Nobody has to perform: the cast will talk to you
and ask you to keep a secret or two, and how much you say back is
up to you.
Hand your bottle over when you
arrive. The barkeeps mix it with liqueurs, bitters, homemade syrups
and garnishes into three cocktails each, built around what you like
to drink. Not drinking? Bring nothing and they'll make you
mocktails.

TICKETS
The Rookie ticket: the show, a
seat in the saloon and three cocktails from your
bottle.
The Bandit ticket: adds a fourth
cocktail from the secret distillery.
The Outlaw ticket: adds everything
in the Bandit, plus sweets from the local confectionery and a
playing card and dice set to take home.
Play a part: for £10, one of your
party becomes the Deputy Sheriff, the Mayor or the Brothel Keeper,
with a costume and a role the cast writes into the night.

THIS CHRISTMAS: THE CHRISTMAS
RUN
From 24 November to 3 January,
every show is the Christmas edition. Tuesday to Sunday.
Coldwater is snowed in and nearly
dry. Every bottle you bring goes up on the saloon board, and the
room keeps count until the town has its Christmas. The old Sheriff
was killed on Christmas Day and nobody was ever caught. This year
the Sheriff swears the killer is back. If you've been before,
you'll hear that story in a new light.
New for Christmas: join the
Sheriff's Posse, sworn in to work the case (one group a night), or
play the Reverend, who preaches against drink to a room full of
moonshiners while the liquor keeps moving.
The Rookie ticket keeps its usual
price. The Christmas Bandit adds a festive cocktail from the secret
distillery and a whisky mince pie. The Christmas Outlaw adds
everything in the Bandit plus sweets and a playing card and dice
set to take home.
