Explore some of France’s most esteemed cheeses over dinner at The Potting Shed restaurant in Marylebone, hosted by Firmdale’s Executive Chef Joe Fox together with the much loved ‘master of cheese’ Eric Charriaux also known as Raymond Blanc’s cheese man.
The evening will start with start with a selection of snacks think Pork rillettes with cornichons and oozy Comte gougères before diving into a three-course meal of Bouillabaisse, Cassoulet and Tarte aux citron.
From much-loved favourites, such as Reblochon and Roquefort to superb, but lesser-known, cheeses like Brillat-Savarin aux truffe and Lou Pérac, you’ll taste a wide variety of different styles and learn about the producers and unique qualities of each.

CHEESE TASTING
- Crottin de Périgord – a fresh and young goat’s cheese with a soft and creamy texture, and nutty flavour
- Lou Pérac – a soft and creamy sheep’s cheese from Occitanie
- Brillat-Savarin aux truffe – a triple crème cow’s cheese, from Burgundy, with the addition of luxurious black truffles
- Reblochon – a delicate soft cow’s cheese from a small producer up in The Alps
- Beaufort – a hard cheese from the summer of 2022, produced in the Alps
- Roquefort Vieux Berger - special production of only family owned Roquefort producer
- Brillat-Savarin aux truffe – a triple crème cow’s cheese, from Burgundy, with the addition of luxurious black truffles
