For the first time in our Fashion & Cinema series, we're exploring the relationship between costume and set design, with a very special Q&A at The Soho Hotel with costume designer Jacqueline Durran and production designer Sarah Greenwood.
Having worked together on titles such as Atonement, Pride & Prejudice, Anna Karenina and, most recently, Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, the evening will shine a light on how these much-loved stories were brought to life on the big screen.
When it comes to Barbie, the talk will touch upon some of the ways in which Jacqueline and Sarah showcased diversity and inclusivity through costume and design.
Hosted by hosted by writer and costume curator Keith Lodwick, the talk will take place in the hotel’s state-of-the-art screening room and will include scenes and snippets from the designers’ career defining moments, followed by a Q&A.
After the talk, head upstairs to The Soho Hotel's lively bar and restaurant, Refuel for dinner or a drink. Featuring a varied menu of British classics alongside more modern seasonal dishes, it's the perfect spot for a post-talk catch-up with friends. Tickets for the talk and dinner are £70 and include a three-course dinner and a glass of wine or soft drink on arrival.

2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.

9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
