Join artist Alice Mary Lynch for a joyful day spent painting two of your own 'tree dancer' wooden decorations. Known for her whimsical works in paint, paper, and cloth, Alice draws inspiration from costume, fairy tales and nature’s circus.
In this hands-on workshop, Alice will guide you through designing and painting a pair of festive decorations, encouraging you to embrace colour, pattern and personality. From choosing your palette to adding the finishing details, you’ll create two unique pieces to take home or gift to a loved one this Christmas.
Alongside practical instruction, Alice will share the inspiration behind her work and her approach to storytelling through craft and creativity - offering a chance to slow down, get playful and enjoy a few hours of festive magic.
Your ticket includes all materials, refreshments throughout the workshop, one-to-one time with Alice and two hand-painted decorations, beautifully presented in a box to take home. The afternoon will finish with a festive afternoon tea in Brumus Restaurant.
Guests will also receive 15% off Alice's products, whether purchased on the day or following the event.
Paints are kindly provided by Edward Bulmer Natural Paint, who are on a mission to transform the paint industry with paints crafted from plant-based ingredients and coloured using the finest earth and mineral pigments, drawing directly from the natural world. Gift bags and colour charts will be provided.

ABOUT ALICE MARY LYNCH
Alice Mary Lynch is a UK-based illustrator and textile artist
with a background in fashion design. After many years working in
Paris for designers including John Galliano and Sonia Rykiel, she
returned to Somerset, where she now creates intricate works in
paint, paper, wood and cloth.
Alice designs seasonal collections and unique pieces, which are
stocked by stores including Harrods and Fortnum & Mason. Rooted in
imagination and playful childhood nostalgia, her work is created to
bring joy and become treasured pieces to pass on through
generations.
