We are delighted to welcome Amanda Barnes, author of The South America Wine Guide, as the guest presenter of the first in our series of Latin American wine and spirit tastings and masterclasses.
Based in South America since 2009, Amanda is an award-winning wine journalist and a leading authority on South American wines. During the past 12 years she has travelled extensively throughout the region, visiting hundreds of vineyards and tasting thousands of wines! She currently lives in Mendoza, Argentina, but is in the UK this summer preparing for her Master of Wine qualification.
Amanda will lead us on a geographical and historical journey through Latin America, during which you will taste wines from Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Mexico and Uruguay.
Signed copies of her “Bible” of South American wines (RRP £35) are included in the price of your ticket and after the masterclass Amanda will be staying on for dinner at 8.30pm with discussion on Latin American life and wine.
