Ramen royalty, Tonkostu are set to open their eleventh UK venue this September, bringing their trademark homemade noodles and dumplings to Rye Lane in Peckham.

Having already made their mark across the city, Tonkotsu are known for their slurp-worthy soups and noodles, all of which are made entirely from scratch each morning. Menu favourites include their crispy duck hyiasha with ponzu dressing, and the miso mushroom ramen, made with hoards of shiitake, enoki and shimeji mushrooms and garnished with their trademark seasoned egg.

This new 50-cover venue is located just a stone’s throw away from the Bussey Building and will feature an open bar and kitchen (perfect for those dumpling-wrapping boomerangs) along with a hand-painted mural wall by west London artist Mr Christa.
