What they say:

Having earnt her credentials at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, been the first British female chef to hold three Michelin stars and appeared on BBC's Saturday Kitchen, Clare Smyth has decided to open her first solo venture. Core By Clare Smyth is an intimate British restaurant in Notting Hill that serves a seasonal menu of 10-12 dishes, with guests either able to order a taster menu of all or pick out several. Clare has also worked with sommeliers to create a 400-bottle-strong wine list with choices from around the world including Champagne.

What we say:

As one of the country's best chefs, it seems only right that Clare Smyth has opened her own restaurant. With space for 54 diners and a bar that can seat 18, Core By Clare Smyth is a fine-dining restaurant that focuses on British influences, from Derby-made crockery right through to working with local fishermen and farmers to ensure the freshest quality. Along with delicious plates and a cocktail menu, the venue has a 'living wall' as well as a natural colour scheme with plenty of copper, green and gold colours.
