What they say:

Having earned themselves rave reviews, ever-increasing queues, and a Michelin Bib-Gourmand, Hoppers in Soho have made quite a splash since opening in 2015. So much so, that the Sri Lankan and Tamil Nadu inspired spot is spreading its wings and gracing Marylebone with the presence of their second restaurant. Located in St Christopher's Place, the new venue is larger than the first with two floors and an outdoor terrace, as well as an open and light design inspired by renowned architect Geoffrey Bawa.

What we say:

Inspired by the cuisine of Sri Lanka and Tamil Nadu in south India, Hoppers are bringing their coveted food to Wigmore Street, moments from Bond Street, as well as a few new dishes. The restaurant is responsible for making their namesake popular in London, and we're pleased to hear that hoppers - fermented rice and coconut batter bowl pancakes filled with curry - are making the cut. Inspired by roadside shacks serving simple and delicious food, the new menu includes the likes of String Hopper Seafood Kothu and Jaffna Beef Rib Fry. Cocktails are fresh and floral and use spirits such as Genever and Sri Lankan Arrack.
