After five years cooking up some of the best laksa in London, Sambal Shiok founder Mandy Yin has found a permanent address in the heart of Holloway Road. The former pop up, which has earned the praises of many a food critic, has opened up a bricks and mortar restaurant that will be serving up their finely-honed brand of spicy noodle soups, along with other favourites such as Assam fish curry and beef rendang.

One of the new restaurants to hit the Holloway Road, this laksa bar from Malaysian pop up Sambal Shiok is open now and ready to churn out some of the tasty noodle soups in the city. Offering a range of dishes, from their signature laksas - all fully customisable - to delicious sides including Malaysian fried chicken, its relaxed atmosphere and colourful interiors make it a top spot for chilled out dinners with friends and laid-back date nights.
