Having taken Cornwall by storm, Prawn On The Lawn opened in London as a fishmonger's and seafood bar in 2013, before moving to the restaurant that we know and love today in 2015 thanks to high demand. Their popularity has only grown since, even making SquareMeal's Top 100 London Restaurants List for 2024. Though their venue in the capital may be a little further from the sea, you can still find some of the freshest fish around here. 

Their menu features a selection of small plates which change on a regular basis, with daily fish deliveries from Cornwall and Devon bringing everything from Porthilly rock oysters to Padstow-sourced crab to the table. Wines here originate from the South West too, produced by the family owned, award-winning organic vineyard Trevibban Mill.

You can choose whether to dine a la carte or enjoy one of the four-course set menus instead. By eating a meal here you're also giving something back too, as a discretionary £1 donation to foodbank charity Trussell Trust is added to every bill.

This St Paul's Road spot is open Tuesday to Saturday every week, serving up laidback lunches and only the finest seafood dinners, to be enjoyed in relaxed and minimalist surrounds. You'll find exposed brick walls, wooden tables and simple white decor here, paired with hanging artwork and patterned cushions to add a little cosiness to your meal. So whether you're coming for cocktails and nibbles or to check out their catch of the day, this North London venue will transport you right to the Cornish coast.
