New Bar Spy - Café Deco

Café Deco Is Bringing Sublime Small Plates And Fine Wines To Bloomsbury This Autumn

Café Deco

Opens

Autumn 2020

Taking up a plot just off Tottenham Court Road, Café Deco is the latest culinary outing from River Café alumnus Anna Tobias and the team from 40 Maltby Street. Incorporating a restaurant, wine bar and deli, the eatery on Bloomsbury's Store Street is looking to bring a touch of home-cooked comfort to one of London's most fashionable areas.

With a menu set to focus on rustic small plates, Café Deco will be delighting diners with dishes such as pissaladière, beef bourguignon and sausage and bean stews, alongside simpler fare including omelettes and quiches. The restaurant will also serve as a shop and deli, selling fancy tinned goods, freshly-made sandwiches and pork pies, as well as click-and-collect options for larger take-home dishes.

In the evenings though, the venue will take on more of a wine bar personality, with a gorgeous selection of bottles available by the glass, and thanks to the restaurant's off-license, many will be available for customers to takeaway too.
