The fine fella behind behind The Richmond pub in Hackney and Elliot's Cafe in Borough Market is bringing a taste of the orient to Dalston's high street with the venture Jidori. Serving up a traditional spread of Japanese street food favourites, Jidori operates an open kitchen interior with a specialty Kama-Asa Shoten grill as the main feature for all of the cooking.

Jidori is all about a taste of Tokyo. If you're a sucker for that charcoal grilled flavour of a Yakitori skewer or even are just partial to the Asian exports of Japanese cuisine, then Jidori is East London's latest international eatery.
