Covent Garden’s latest opening is looking to tempt thirsty Londoners away from their trusty pale ales and pinots and into the wondrous world of craft sake. Your bog-standard bar, this place is not. 

Moto (meaning ‘origin’) will be the UK’s first independent bar and beverage shop, specialising in importing a huge range of sakes all the way from Japan, as well as offering tasting flights for those who are new to the fermented rice wine game. Not only is this place perfect for dipping your toe into the world of Japanese spirits, you can also buy a bottle of your favourite tipple to take home - bagging you some serious dinner party bragging rights.

The bar snack menu is pretty special too - boasting otsumami sharing platters and small plates such as chilled tofu, chicken fry and grilled miso salmon.
