While many may think that some of Clapham's caverns are reserved to cheap Prosecco (hallelujah) and rowdy, River Island inspired nights out, there's a restaurant bar perched just shy of Clapham North station that for once, kind of had me thinking otherwise. The Venue A global transportation of sorts…
Tsunami is a contemporary Japanese restaurant in the heart of Clapham. A sleek, sophisticated location filled with wooden screens, luxurious leather seats and delicate Oriental touches, this is an excellent location for eating out in South London.
Take advantage of an extensive sashimi and sushi menu if you’re a fan of fresh fish, with an equally impressive range of teriyaki and tempura plates slotting in next to a main menu comprised of truffle rib-eye beef, roasted pork belly and steamed sea bass favourites.
After-dinner cocktails aren’t to be missed out on, either. Signature blends like the Japanese Mai Tai and Korean Fashion provide a refreshing Oriental tweak, and there’s a good choice of virgin cocktails, wines and sakes to offer a little something for all tastes.
