What they say:

Fresh Mediterranean food complimented by live jazz music every day is on the cards at new Canary Wharf bar Jazzgir. Creating a cool jazz hangout with mellow wooden furnishings and a view of the dock, Jazzgir is the perfect place to listen to some live music while sipping on a mixed drink. Their two bars serve up a series of classic cocktails with a contemporary twist, with drinks like the Triple M, a new take on the Moscow Mule.

What we say:

The people who brought you Kilikya, Bellaria and Bacco have decided to take on jazz music in their latest opening. And if you love the smooth sounds of grooviest music in the world, then you are in luck as they’ll be hosting a live band – such as the Canary Three – every day from 5pm. To compliment the music is a menu packed with fresh Mediterranean-style food, with dishes like fresh pappardelle with white rabbit ragu. There’s also plenty of vegan options and takeaway meals for people popping in from the office.
