What they say:

We fell in love with Archie, the cheese van that frequented Maltby market and festivals across the UK, and we have a feeling our adoration will only intensify with The Cheese Bar. Finding a permanent home in North London, The Cheese Bar is the work of Mathew Carver, a man who has been selling cheese toasties from his yellow ice-cream truck since 2013. Following a successful crowd-funder campaign, his new restaurant will opened in early 2017, and feature some classics such as the Cropwell Bishop Stilton, Bacon & Pear Chutney sandwich.

What we say:

The gods have finally answered our prayers and bequeathed us with a dedicated cheese restaurant *deep breaths*. The Cheese Bar is more than a one trick pony though, the restaurant is located in the Grade-II listed Camden Stables, supports local dairy producers such as La Latteria in Acton and Gringa Dairy in Peckham and also serves local craft beer producers. As well as Archie classics, look out for new items such as a 'sexy Mexican fondue' and a dessert that incorporates dark chocolate ice-cream, honey and Beenleigh Blue - a ewes' milk cheese from South Devon.
