What they say:

With an award-winning Sunday roast and a booked-out bottomless brunch, Dalston's Jones & Sons has won plenty of devotees in its five years. It comes as no surprise that the successful restaurant has decided to expand its horizons, settling on Angel. Opening in the Angel Central shopping centre, the new Jones & Sons will look to replicate the success of the first, focusing on a seasonal menu that will change every six to seven weeks, and be divided between small plates, a la carte, brunch and Sunday menus.

What we say:

From seasonal British plates through to a widely respected head chef, Jones & Sons Angel has all the hallmarks of a success. Kieran Hope (formerly of Beastrotheque and Hix) will be leaving the original restaurant to open the Angel outpost, and ensuring that the roast dinners maintain their prodigious reputation. When you're not working your way through dishes such as slow-roast Hampshire pork belly, or truffle gnocchi with wild rocket, there's the drinks list to consider, which we hope will feature the twisted cocktails seen previously, including The Gorski #2 (house-smoked rum, Chambord, Cointreau, and chargrilled orange).
