"A soaring success!" - The best of Croydon (about the Spread Eagle Theatre)
"One of Croydon's hidden gems" - Croydon Advertiser (about the Spread Eagle Theatre)
GAVIN OSBORN - returns to the Spread Eagle to bellow his left-leaning, arts-loving, pro-immigration songs to an increasingly befuddled audience, who just want a good night out.
“Frustrated, bewildered, and aware of the utter ridiculousness of a world that has moved past your point of understanding. One of 2017’s most relatable releases” - Observer
MJ HIBBETT - has performed live on Radio One, had a Record Of The Year in Rolling Stone, an Album Of The Day on 6Music, released one of the first ever viral videos, very narrowly avoided writing an autobiography, taken six productions to the Edinburgh Fringe and recorded a rock opera about space dinosaurs. He's done all this without the help or otherwise of record companies or management and would now quite like a pint, please.
JENNY LOCKYER - sings songs and does things that make people laugh. She writes songs that are funny, whimsical and often full of stories. Sometimes people give her money. Whether it's money for a cd, money to keep singing or money to be quiet is of no consequence. It's still money. She has gigged all over in all sorts of places including variety and cabaret nights, music and comedy gigs, house concerts, school assemblies, churches, radio, bars, clubs and people's living rooms... and once for the queue in the local chemist.
"Musical comedy joy! A comic songstress with delightfully insane, catchy, charming musical numbers. Mixes the worlds of music and comedy with a guitar, a golden voice and a twisted lyric or two!" - Paul Kerensa
