The Angel Inn in Highgate is under the expert guidance of Heath Ball, the visionary behind The Red Lion & Sun, which is ranked among the UK’s Top 50 Gastropubs. The pub has transformed The Angel Inn into a modern British pub with a refreshed, all-day dining concept that blends classic pub fare with seasonal, ingredient-led cooking.

Its menu, which spans from morning to evening, features breakfast highlights like smoked kippers, a refined full English, and fresh pastries from Seven Seed Bakery, alongside lunch dishes such as house-made savoury pies, burgers, and seasonal salads. The focus is on high-quality ingredients from trusted suppliers, including smoked fish from Cornwall and fresh vegetables. The Angel Inn’s relaxed atmosphere is complemented by a carefully curated drinks list, featuring organic wines, biodynamic bottles, and independent spirits like Hepple Gin. As the day progresses, the space transforms into a New York-inspired wine bar, offering a cosy, welcoming spot for evening cocktails, wine-led evenings, and private events.

The Angel Inn also offers private hire options, making it an ideal venue for special occasions and producer-led takeovers. Designed by Adrian Fillary, the pub’s new interior creates a dynamic space that’s perfect for both casual brunches and intimate evening gatherings.
