This pub has aged better than a fine wine, its been serving pints on Garratt Lane for over 3 centuries and has only got better over time. It is dog friendly and has a family-friendly feel, being a local favourite and has a curfew for little ones at 8 pm. Over summer, people travel from across London to soak up the sunshine in the best company.

The original building has all the cosy traditional pub vibes, complete with a restaurant and dining room as well as fireplaces and all the nooks for a cheeky pint (or five). The garden boasts a dreamy, open plan: all the seats, a second outdoor bar and as well as The Burger Shack, serving up a street food style food service, delivered to your table. The garden also has huts that people book out for parties and gatherings. This space is perfect for days in the sunshine, and evenings that are flooded with fairy lights and ice-cold pints.

They are all about good times and a welcome as warm as their just-out-the-oven Sunday roasts (which, by the way, are legendary). The lovely locals pull up a pew for proper delicious dishes, beautifully mixed cocktails, and crisp cold pints poured to perfection.
