CampFruit Events returns with a powerful and heartfelt new edition of its Cabaret Festival: Queens For Ever, an intimate, song-led cabaret honouring the women—and the feminine spirit—at the heart of the LGBTQ+ community.
Taking place on Sunday 6 September 2026 in the iconic Club Room at The Bedford, Balham, this special event brings together a diverse lineup of LGBTQ+ singers from LGBTQ+ Choirs across London and the South East. Through solo performances, duets, and small vocal ensembles, Queens For Ever explores themes of love, resilience, identity, and inclusion.
Following the festival’s 2025 debut—which called for visible solidarity with the trans community—this year’s edition broadens the conversation, celebrating femininity as a powerful and unifying force across all identities.
From birth mothers to drag mothers, from trans women to lesbians, and from those who live femininity boldly to those who carry it quietly—Queens For Ever is a tribute to the strength, care, and creativity that femininity brings to our lives and our community.
Hosted in CampFruit’s signature style—where cabaret meets connection—the event promises an evening of emotional resonance, joyful camp, and meaningful storytelling through song.
“This is about honouring the people who shape us—and the qualities that hold us together,” says host and CampFruit founder Mark Ashton, known on stage as Matron. “It’s about love, visibility, and showing up for each other—loudly and proudly.”
