Description

The Bedford in Balham was built in 1931 and following a multi-million-pound refurbishment reopened in 2018. One of the best venues for live music, comedy and wrestling in the city. 

A fresh seasonal menu will fuel you for an evening of dancing. Some of the hottest new music acts fill the club room on a weekday evening. At the weekend they host the famous Banana Cabaret comedy club who'll have you laughing into your cocktail. 

Up in their function rooms on the first floor, the Ballroom and Cocktail Bar can provide you with the perfect backdrop for a knock out wedding, a big celebration or a weekly class. They also regularly host Brush and Bubbles, yoga, first aid lessons and many more. And if there is an event that you want to do but can't find the place to do it then head to The Bedford - they love a challenge.  

At the top of the building you will find 15 boutique hotel rooms - the best place to fall into a deep slumber after a night of partying.

The grand ballroom is certain to impress with its gold detail ceiling, a green marble bar with
fireplace behind, statement chandeliers and lavish design. A truly versatile space, we can fill with tables and chairs for a three course meal or clear the space to make way for a dance floor to party the night away with a private bar and late licence. Trestle tables are used for our legendary drinks parties to allow for sitting.
