Best best best night out. Gabriel was an amazing host, and while we managed to get out in 55 minutes, there was still a good level of noggin churning, even for only the two of us. Recommend this to anyone, had so much fun.

I bought this as a surprise birthday gift to my boyfriend for his 22nd birthday, and it was absolutely perfect! I was apprehensive before having not done anything like this before, but it completely surpassed my expectations. Gabriel, our host was wonderful and the game itself was just the right amount of immersive whilst being a good balance of challenging but fun. We finished with 9 minutes to spare and were very proud, and glad to enjoy our wine at the end! We wanted to do it again immediately afterwards, so we will be searching for another game soon.

Fantastic! We went in a group of 9 for a work team away day and it was the perfect team activity. Gabriel was brilliant and the game itself was just the right mix of fun and challenging!

Really fun night out! We went as a group of 10 and played the game in two teams throughout the evening. Meaning that as well as enjoying the game we could enjoy food and atmosphere of a lovely pub. The game was just the right amount of challenging so you feel under pressure but still win in the end.

We've done a number of "escape rooms" now and although this may be on the small side compared to some it certainly makes up for this in atmosphere! The puzzles were varied an challenging and we all had a great time. Hats off to a great host in Gabriel too! At time of writing we're currently the second fastest team, completing in just over 45 mins. Beat that!

Brilliant! There were two of us, didn't really know what to expect as neither of us had done anything like it. Really well themed, Gabriel struck a great balance of theatre and not taking it too seriously. It was sufficiently challenging to keep us hopping the whole way through and we did get a couple of hints. Great experience!

Four of us did the game. Gabriel was brilliant and the game was really fun. Just the right level of challenging. Would definitely recommend it for a fun night out. Plus The pub it's based in is pleasant and friendly, and great for drinks or food before or after.

Excellent game ;) great fun. The story line was very clever and the Game Host was brilliant and made the game even more awesome. This is a must "to do" in London.

We, like most of those who have written reviews before, didn't really know what to expect from this experience but that was all part of the excitement. 5 friends, one room and one fantastic host at a pub in Clapham doesn't sound like the average night out and that is exactly what it was not. From the offset, you're drawn into the tale by Gabriel and then given your first task and then it is generally carnage! Brilliant experience, definitely harder than we all expected and worth it for the fun of seeing how competitive your friends are. You will not be disappointed, unless you run out of time that is!

It's tricky to review 'Lady Chastity', for the simple reason I knew very little about it when I took part, and that, without doubt, is the best way to approach it So I'm going to keep this brief. This is a wonderful way to spend an hour with mates. Gabriel, the host, is fantastic, the game was far harder than I imagined, and all the better for it, and the time flew by in a delightful blur of detective work, deducing and dashing around (ok, and in our case, a fair bit of simple dumb luck) Lady Chastity was my first 'Escape Room' experience, if they are all even half as fun it certainly won't be my last

This was my first time at trying an escape game, and I have to say I was really impressed, even if it did beat us! We thoroughly enjoyed it and became truly enveloped in our determination to escape, with the riddles and puzzles being just hard enough to keep you trying, yet simple enough to make you not want to ask Gabriel the delightful host for help! I would definitely recommend this to anyone as a truly enjoyable experience!

Lady Chastity’s Reserve may be one of London’s newest attractions, but the quest for her magical wine is already of the finest vintage. This was my first taste of an escape room and for anyone else who hasn’t tried one of these immersive experiences, it does exactly what it says on the tin – challenges you and your friends to a series of riddles and puzzles which allow you to escape the room. Think an exciting, twisted game show – with the fantastic Gabriel as your host. The name is somewhat ironic, because as soon as I’d escaped I wanted to go back for more. In a city where you think you’ve experienced everything, Lady Chastity’s Reserve is a must do – a really different, fun and exciting way to spend an afternoon or evening. This is one lock in you’ll never forget!

This was the first time I've participated in escape games, and I'm glad it was Lady Chastity who popped my cherry! The set-up was impressive, the puzzles just challenging enough but not impossible, and Gabriel the host kept the game intriguing. Five stars!

Superb! The game, the venue & most of all our host Gabriel. An excellent night out with a difference (and good value too - especially as we found Lady Chastity's Reserve). It was my birthday too & this made a brilliant grown up party. Don't miss it.!!!

We didn't quite crack the final lock within the time limit and were somewhat disappointed with ourselves rather than the game. I would totally recommend it and host made such a big difference to the experience. Definitely one of the better Escape games in London.

We made it with 6 whole minutes to spare, and were beaming with foolish pride as we emerged from the dark with Lady Chastity's bottle of wine. This really well designed and hosted event was such fun. The four of us highly recommend it.

This is an excellent example of an escape room done right; whilst you're not trying to escape, instead the endeavour is retrieve the final bottle of Lady Chastity's eponymous wine, all the elements are in place, with the bonus of a bit of a storyline to go with it rather than just 'find your way out'. It's really well done with a nice selection of puzzles and some minor theatrics to match. Don't go expecting a full-on immersive theatre, as described in the blurb, and the overselling of this element, along with the small size of the playing space, and the linear nature of the puzzles, are the reasons it loses out on the fifth star, although the host does an excellent job of getting you in to the spirit of things. An easy 4 stars for Lady Chastity's Reserve. A fun hour, solving some puzzles, in a well-themed room, in a lovely pub. Great stuff! Very much recommended to anyone with an interest in any of the aspects of this production and wants the opportunity to sample the lady's wares.

fantasstic idea, great fun and Gabriel made the experience. Also a great venue for before and after drinks, would highly recommend, i did this as a double date idea and worked really well although a little difficult, so you dont want to have too many drinks prior. thanks Gabrielle,

The whole experience totally surpassed expectations, as well as being GREAT fun and a brilliant way to mix up an evening at the pub. The game is very clever, full of surprises, and really challenging. It was interesting to see the different strengths (and competitive streaks) each person brought to the game! Highly recommended - looking forward to playing the next game by Handmade Mysteries.

This game is brilliant! Very good fun and at times a little scary! Great fun and the actor is fantastic. Also very good setting in the pub to then enjoy a few drinks

Really enjoyed this game from start to finish! The clues were pitched at just the right level so that trying to decipher them in time was a good challenge. I even got to have a 'Goonies' moment (you'll find out what I mean if you play the game!) A great thing to do with a group of mates of an evening, and the pub itself was pretty sweet. Highly recommended!

5

Excellent fun! They have gone to real effort to create a dark and dirty victorian atmosphere and Gabriel the host really adds to this. Having never done an experience like this before, I was unsure what to expect but I was not disappointed. The puzzles inside are challenging, requiring some good mental dexterity - probably shouldn't have had 2 pints before going in!! Overall, good value, really good fun and when you're done, the pub serves great food too.

Great fun! Gabriel is a fantastic storyteller. The setting has the right level of mystery and macabre. The game itself is challenging and you def have to use your brain. Recommend it highly. Great way to spend an hour!

Took my boyfriend as a surprise for his birthday and we both loved it! Was totally unique and Gabriel is awesome :) :) I haven't tried the other escape rooms round London but this is definitely better value price wise and its in a pub so you can drink whilst you play!

Played yesterday. Biggest failures in the history of the game makes us proud. Would definitely recommend for team building/corporate do's, although anyone can enjoy. Just don't have 3 glasses of wine beforehand. It will not work out well.

One of the best takes on the escape room craze, a really good series of puzzles in a decent sized room. Max 5 per team keeps it very team orientated rather than everyone running around by themselves. Great support from Gabriel too. Also a really nice pub for drinks before / after and they were kind enough to let us take ours in the room with us. Huzzah!

Had an absolutely amazing evening. Got to bring out my inner geek and competitive side at the same time, was great fun made even better by amazing hosts. Gabriel you played a blinder and thank you so much to the team for being flexible when the trains were determined to make us miss our start time. Highly recommend.

Great alternative night out - high production values, and exactly the right balance of silliness and difficulty-level with the mystery. An excellent night out with mates, or a perfect unusual date night. Highly recommend.

I had an amazing evening! What a great concept and so elegantly put together. This was so much fun. A great performance by our hilariously quirky host and problem solving puzzles at their best. I would gladly suggest this to anyone looking for a new exciting thing to do on a night out!

What a fantastic evening, what a fantastic game! I love all things phantasmagorical and this was just awesome. Some of the riddles and puzzles were really challenging but with the right combo of brains and persistence we WON!!! Highly recommended!

Location was fantastic, Had a great Brunch at The Four Thieves before hand. The actual room for the game was quite small which meant only five of us could take part but the game itself was really stimulating although for £18 each, quite short especially to only win 1 bottle between five of you. There was also a "technical error" half way through which meant we were disturbed and one of the clues had to be solved for us in an effort to time save. Would recommend though.

I've been to a bunch of these escape room games in London and this one was the first to really get me into the storyline and narrative. The puzzles are just the right level to make you feel like you've achieved something without being too frustrating and the narrative around it his funny and engaging. Really atmospheric! Another great thing about it is the fact that it's in a pub so you can easily make a night of it. Big recommendation for a unique date.

Super fun. Lots of surprises and harder than I expected... but that it made it all the more exciting! I would recommend 3 people as optimum, 4 maximum, otherwise it's a bit cramped. Hilarious hammy acting and voiceover too - brilliant, highly recommended.

Was taken here for a surprise birthday treat and what a great surprise it was! A fun and intriguing game in a fabulously decorated room - no corners cut here! Gabrielle was excellent in setting the scene and helping us along way. Great idea to hold it in a pub but best not to have some drinks beforehand like we did because you'll need your brain to find all the clues, let alone solve them! Excellent idea, I will certainly be looking out for more rooms from handmade mysteries.

Really enjoyable way to spend an hour. It was fun and really well presented...........quite cryptic at times but thats what you're there for. The voice recordings and little surprise touches are hilarious. Far exceeded my expectations and a really nice idea to put it in a pub. The roast here is a good way to reward yourself afterwards. This is next level pub gaming shit! Will definitely return when the game changes.

Me and my mates did one escape room type challenge a few months back but I have to say this was way more enjoyable. Not only is it based in a more relaxed environment AKA a PUB(!) but you actually get something at the end should you complete it successfully which is a nice touch. Shazam.

Me and my friends have done a few of these escape room type games in the last year and it's fair to say we all agreed this was the stand out. I can;t say anything else without spoiling it but if you want a night out with your friends doing something genuinely different then look no further. Just brilliant!

Quirky, inventive, challenging + fun. Hugely innovative derivative of the escape rooms format. Be wary of drunkenness when you go in or it’ll chew you up and spit out your bones.

Have tried a lot of London's 'clue quest' games. Most of them around £25. This one smashes the sh*t out of them! It's a deeper story, better value, has an actual prize, AND IS BASED IN A PUB! Win win win and win.
