What they say:

Aiming to bring live music back to London, Omeara is Ben Lovett's latest venture. Located in Southwark, the multi-purpose venue is built into the recently regenerated railway arches, a five-minute walk from London Bridge. As well as a stage that will host names such as Benjamin Francis Leftwich, there is a speakeasy-style bar serving a wide variety of tequilas and food trucks which sell tacos and pizza. There is also an outdoor terrace with space for a DJ, and a gallery area for local artists.

What we say:

With a spate of recent club and live music venue closures, it's refreshing to see a space opening up in such a central location. Omeara's opening is doubly exciting given its late licence meaning we will have somewhere to party after 2am, which can be a tough find in London. The multi-purpose venue is spread across several rooms and has a chilled-out, laid-back vibe with lots of exposed brick and twisty-turny corridors which create an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. As this is Ben Lovett, a member of Mumford and Sons, you can count on the live music being top notch.
