Reply from Rah Rah RoomDear DMN User, Thank you for thanking the time to leave a review of your evening at Rah Rah Room Our version of events differs greatly from your review. Your table was more then sufficient to seat 8 at any one time, at no point did you ask for extra seats to be added or did you raise the complaint with us. Our doors for the club open at 23.00pm and on Saturday we opened at 22.50pm, this is our usual opening time for the club. The package you booked was through a third party club promotion company who sold you the wrong package, we have since asked them not to advertise such deals to save further confusion. At no point were you upgraded then ask to move back. The reason you were ask to leave the venue was because of the behaviour of some members of your group, we have a duty of care to other customers in the venue and some in your group were rolling around on the floor and kicking other customers, we do not tolerate this kind of behaviour. You were taken back inside to look for your belongings be a female security as you had not used the cloak room and had left most of your coats next to the christmas tree. One member of your party who due to privacy laws will not be named had an epileptic fit at the front and i myself provided first aid and called for an ambulance. Some of your group at this time thought this was funny and tried to exasperate the situation by shouting at me and members of the security. I am happy for you to review the CCTV of the whole night to hopefully clear your mind of what actually happened on that evening. If you would like to discuss this further please call the office 02035881111.
Reply from Rah Rah RoomGood morning dancer84, ( I do not like to name and shame myself) I feel so disappointed to read this review although not surprised as when I began to deal with you, I found your manner rude so to cover myself, I only dealt with you when my Director was present (thank gosh or goodness knows how he would have reacted to this review) which is a massive issue I believe that we have with reviews but I shall save that blog for another day! I shall begin explaining when I noticed there was an unconfirmed booking of a hen party on our system under the name of a previously employed manager so I wanted to double check to make sure that this was in fact an unconfirmed booking. I received an email then that as far as you were aware that it was all booked in so at this stage I wanted to try my best to make sure we got the booking sorted. You emailed back and I then told by yourself that for £35 per person you had been promised a seated show ticket (usually £29 each) along with a bottle of Prosecco (usually £49 per bottle). This is where I find it most unusual to hear that you yourself have worked in the "club industry" for years because after working in it myself, one thing I am proud of is the promotion of safe drinking and so is our venue so we would never want to try and influence the sale of a bottle of Prosecco per person which would be over 6 glasses which at 11% is up to 9 units per person! As you can see on www.drinkaware.co.uk , this is exceeding even a weekly advised intake so please understand as a professional establishment who cares about their customers and promotes safe drinking, we just could not offer this and I am so sorry that you say a previous employed manager had. Never mind that this would be giving away our produce at a massive discount. I also need to mention that about the "butler in the buff" you wanted me to order that you said had also been promised, As our show is not a private event and there would be other customers, my Director, also advised me to let you know this would not be allowed due to insurance purposes and the fact that this would not be fair on our other paying guests. I understand you were unhappy with what you said had been promised to you before, although there was absolutely nothing I could do about this and I tried to help as much as I could and even secured a discount for you and your group and allowed the hen to go free of charge. I also opened our VIP balcony which is not usually open to accommodate all the requests that I could arrange. Although you say that you only received bad customer service from myself. I also stated in my last email that I worked Friday until 5pm so sorry you seemed confused about this also. I hope you do come back in the future and glad to hear that you enjoy the show. It really is top class! Take care and happy reviewing!
