March 8th
Ron Basejam
Tail & Twist

Ron Basejam is the anagrammed alter-ego of Crazy P co-founder, James Baron.

Started as a ‘no pressure’ side project in 2006, Baron wanted to capture the more diverse and quirky sides of his musical tastes and create underground music with character, personality and humour.

Musically, as well as showing his love of disco and House, the project allows Baron freedom to explore more diverse musical avenues and textures. You never know quite what you’re going to get from a Basejam production which keeps things interesting in the studio and on the dance-floor.

Supporting them are South London’s passionate party throwers ‘Tail & Twist’, who are known for connecting all the dots between disco & house.

April 5th
Lauer
The Lowdown

Philipp Lauer is a producer, musician and DJ based in Frankfurt. He performs as Lauer and also as one part in Tuff City Kids with Gerd Janson.
Raised on a strict diet of hip hop & punk rock, Philipp finally succumbed to the pleasures of electronic music in the late nineties when he started to produce deep house tracks.

Lauer’s productions have been coming through thick and fast for over a decade releasing on some of the best dance music labels in the scene including to LP’s on Gerd Janson’s Running Back imprint, Feel My Bicep & Permanent Vacation.

Support on the night will come from Netil Radio’s The Lowdown. These guys know how to throw a party, whether it be in their seaside hometown of Southend, or the other side of the world down in Melbourne, Australia. Expect the best in Disco, House, Funk and Soul and all the good stuff in between.

May 17th
The Reflex
Concrete Music

Noel Gallagher is a fan. Nile Rodgers is a fan. Kid Creole is a fan. Disclosure, Jazzy Jeff, Eats Everything are all fans. From house music royalty Joey Negro, Dimitri from Paris and Mousse T, to the original DJ/remix pioneers François K, Greg Wilson, Danny Krivit, all the way to Karizma, Mistajam, DJ Marky, Horse Meat Disco, J.Rocc, Jazzie B, Cut Killer, Rainer Truby, Acid Arab, Nightmares on Wax... They are all fans of The Reflex.
Fascinated by the remix from an early age, London-based French native Nicolas Laugier, aka The Reflex, takes his cue from the first wave of disco remixers by using only the original sounds from the master tapes (or stems) to breathe new life into soul, pop and disco classics. Imaginative arrangements, boxfresh sonics and intricate editing make The Reflex Revisions rocket fuel for every DJ set.

South-coast heavyweights and POW favourites 'Concrete Music' will be kicking the party off.

21st June
Rayko & DJ Nick the Record
Shadow City Soundsystem
Fruit Factory

Spanish producer extraordinaire Rayko has been a leading light in the disco scene since 2008, last year he launched his magnificent Rare Wiri imprint. Since then his name has appeared on literally dozens of great records scattered across labels like Eskimo, Is It Balearic? Whiskey Disco, Lumberjacks in Hell, and Nang.

Joining him is Nick The Record, someone who has been getting more recognition of late thanks to his Boiler Room set for The Final Night in Paradise party at Village Underground which was part of a tribute night to Larry Levan & The Paradise Garage.
Nick has been quietly involved in the scene for the past 25 years, DJing, releasing the occasional record and selling rare Disco & Soul records to the stars.

Support on the night comes from Birmingham’s Shadow City Soundsystem and new kids on the block, Fruit Factory.
