If Lewis Carroll created a 21st century party land he might have ended up with something like The Piccadilly Institute. The massive club space contains six stunningly original party rooms under one roof (one is inspired by A Clockwork Orange) with an overall inclination to the bizarre. Lacking no imagination and with a bold and adventurous approach to party experiences this central London club is a pleasant sensory overload. It’s a great West End club to go dancing, exploring and trying a quirky cocktail. Why not try the Liquid Therapy In a Padded Cell cocktail that serves six people? (Eristoff vodka, Archers, Crème de fraise, Cranberry and Peach purée topped with Prosecco.) They also serve tasty nibbles, stonebaked pizzas, burgers and miniature versions of British classics if you’re looking for a meal.
The dress code is only natural for a West End club with a No hoody's, No trainers, No sportswear. No Timberlands allowed. Collar and shoes are preferred but don’t worry about getting a personal stylist. Dedicated to the principles of pleasure, there’s something for every mood, every scene, every desire, so enjoy the labyrinth of rooms with six different experiences each totally unique.

The madhouse that is Piccadilly Institute is the brainchild of the same guys who brought us Tiger Tiger, Babble Bar Mayfair, and Kanaloa. Like its sister clubs, Piccadilly Institute is an unique space, attracting droves of nightclub goers who are...

Last night I came to your venue after a friend's birthday party at Grace Bar as we had free entry. As soon as we got in our group of friends split across the two floors for a few minutes to try and decide where we wanted to stop - depending on music and atmosphere. I was standing by the stairway for a few minutes when a bouncer told me to move (not very politely) to which I politely asked if he could wait a few minutes as we didn't all want to get lost, he said it was fine . In the meantime a female bouncer grabbed my arm and pushed me down the stairs (rudely and violently) and was followed by yet another bouncer who started grabbing and pushing me by gripping onto my arm with force. When I asked them to stop touching and pushing me and to talk to me the male bouncer started speaking to my friend and told him he was kicking me out ( he decided not to even tell me that) - may I add that we were all pretty sober and in a good mood and definitely not looking for any fights. Your manager arrived and didn't even hear us out, he saw what was happening and didn't intervene - he is a poor excuse for a manager! When I asked the bouncer that was kicking me out the reason for it he replied that he was kicking me out as I was **sentence being moderated** - believe me it doesn't end here! I was appalled and knew that there was a reason why I stopped going out in the west end- this is a tourist trap and your staff need a reality check and a course on how to deal with people - they are a disgrace and should not be allowed to treat people like that!
Reply from Piccadilly InstituteThanks for your feedback with regards to your recent visit to us. We welcome all comments as it helps us to improve our service. As we are a very busy venue we take safety of our guests very seriously. The top of the stairs is a high risk area and as such we need to keep the area as clear as possible. Our security staff are trained to look after this area efficiently and safely. On occasions guests are asked to leave the premises. As I was not present, I'm afraid I cannot comment upon the reason you were asked to leave. I have spoken to our Head of security as well as our General Manager who are investigating the incident however please do drop me an email so that we can discuss further - email@example.com Thanks again for taking the time to write to us
A wierd and wacky club! A bit out of the ordinary, which I loved! Def try and book a table or area so you can also chill out and enjoy the surroundings
great to find a bar so different in the west end. Love the magician, but a little bit scared by the dwarves! Cant wait to come back!
So many amazing rooms to choose from with an awesome vibe to boot! Can't wait to explore a little deeper next time
Love how cool it is here, really unique and different looking, great drinks and great music, great vibe!
hmmm, went here with my two girl mates, the venue is very cool but the people inside ruined it for us...be prepared for creepy guys. Expensive to get in £2 for coats and expensive drinks. wont be coming here again, a shame as it could be a great place
I had such high hopes for this place but was left very disappointed. I was not exactly expecting a themed bar but the fact they try to sell it as such when all they have done it given some staff members scrubs to wear is very weak. The food was average and the drinks very overpriced, but it’s the heart of London so hey what do you expect! My evening though was seriously marred by having my coat stolen and being witness to a vicious assault, which left myself and the rest of my group feeling pretty uncomfortable being in the place. Struggle to find any reason to recommend it.
Pretty average. Quite good if you want to start early, as they are open from 5pm. The coffee shop is quite good though! I'd defiantly review that if I could?
Really unique venue great for special occasions, went for my birthday and had an amazing time, the staff were so helpful and made the night fantastic. Drinks prices were very reasonable considering the location! Have been back a fair few times since and would highly recommend!
and the birds are fit
Fantastic night, great crowd, great music, amazing DJ and lots of fun- def a must on a Saturday night our with your crew xx
This is my favourite place to come after work, we always manage to grab a booth in the Fruitbox room which plays chilout and looks over Piccadilly. Good vibe, good views, and you can't go wrong with 50% off between 5 and 9pm :)
top night with the boys- good fun, stayed til close and lost my wallet haha lucky i called in the morning they had it haha- freaking wicked venue, so stoked i went- will go back again man for sure
What a amazing night we had, it was so fun- we booked a table for me and about 13 of my girlfriends- we got a good deal and started drinking early! Our area was so nice and the staff were really friendly- I loved the Nior room, its so fun and sexy.. really good friday night out hahaha and for all the single ladies, the boys that go there are hot hahahaha! def come back
The staff is just horrible. I've been insulted by a waitress with absolutely no reason, just because she was having a raw at my friend and I told him to ignore her. And then, trying to complain to her manager, she started yelling at me too before I had a chance to even explain what happened. Only then she apologized...
You'd think it's classy but it's not somewhere you can let your hair down and relax. Definitely a place for loud students
NOT A PLACE FOR YOUR PARTY!!!!! I booked a table to celebrate my birthday in the Clinic at the Piccadilly Institute well in advance to make sure I get a good table. However, I was told that their policy is to move people around at the last minute to suit their own needs, not ours! The Institute has 6 rooms and I didn’t want to risk to end up in the corner next to the toilets having in mind I have booked two weeks in advance. I was furious how unhelpful and not understanding the booking team is giving silly excuses with their retarded policy! Now, the policy is written to suit their own needs to get as much profit as they can and certainly not thinking about the needs of the customer! A good Manager in hospitality knows that this type of policy will only fail the business in the long run. However, Manager without a degree and without the slightest idea of customer service is capable to place such retarded policy! I am writing this review to protect you of having your party ruined in the way it happened to me! Oh, the follow up of the story is that I have found a good bar with no booking charge, no entry fee and a happy hour and look forward to my birthday now. It is a happy ending for me! :))) Mirena
Good and interesting club! Lots of different cool rooms and one big dance floor. Standard club classics and pop house but thats what you want from a place like this. Really enjoyed my saturday night here!
